About the Event

The plethora of expressions, diversity of unimaginable characters, red of the blood all to impress you! Actors from the region will envilen the stage and perform their hearts out to stand victorious in this tough clash of theatre-acting. Welcome to the Stage play competition!

Rules :-
- Teams have to register at prelims.alcheringa.co.in
- The performance must be in Hindi or English.
- The minimum age limit for this competition is 12 years.
- Usage of fire/water/smoke in any form is not allowed.
- The performance can also be a musical drama.
- Two standing microphones two collar microphones and four
ground microphones will be provided to each team for the
performance.
- Participants must bring their own laptops for sound effects. For
any music track or video file team has to submit it well in
advance.
- Live music is also allowed. All required instruments and props
must be brought by the team itself. Only two(lights/ sound)
technicians per team will be allowed.
- Props are allowed. Same as last year, Only household objects
can be used as props (Dholak, Stick, Drums, are allowed).Other
props can be used with the permission of event managers.
Marks will be allocated based on the creativity.
- No props other than chairs and table can be expected from
organizers. All the requests for the same must be made a
week before the performance.
- Issues like crossing time limits, using abusive language, or
vulgarity will lead to negative marking and it will be
completely over judge’s discretion.
- Team must have at least 6 members and a maximum of 20
members.
- The act should not portray any discrimination or derogatory
remark towards any community. Not adhering to this may lead
to disqualification.
- The decision of the judges will be binding and final in case of
any conflict.
- Special awards will be given to best actor and best actresses.

PRE FINALS.
- Time limit for prelims is 20 minutes from curtain to curtain
(including setting/clearance) . A part of the finals will be
performed in the prelims.
- 4 teams will qualify for finals.

FINALS
- Time limit (curtain to curtain) for the finals is 50 minutes.
